Tea Pavillion, Cameron Highlands

11  /   05  /   2017

The aim of this project is to generate structure, form and space through architectural conceptualization with the emphasis on the user requirement, ergonomics and site responding to develop an architectural proposition. the architectonic at a minuscule level brings harmony and peace among the hilly tea laves of the Cameron Highlands. The intention was to mimic and envision a abstract in architecture which performs the beauty in design, elegance in space, and peace in atmosphere

The importance of using the art of crafting and making: drawing(s) and model(s) as a critical design tool as part of the design process.

The concept of reality in tea harmony was the epitome of the project. The idea dwells upon the mini-scale of pavilion overlooking the upon the whole hill of tea leaves around the context. the opening is subtle and sufficient to embrace warmth whilst being exposed to the natural ground for having comfortably riddled with nature. the textured interior digress the architecture input with spatial quality where tea is stored, prepared, and consumed. The ergonomics and head height challenges the conventional put in architecture whereby the spaces is constraint to the very little endeavors. The aim was to make a space of a stopping point to relax and enjoy the view. Thus the invention of a parasol architecture of a pavillion
Presented on my hands is the amass pavilion we derived off a tree's part: leaf. we derived it and manipulate it until resemblance of what called a tea leaf, becomes very abstract. Great minds think alike is not a phrase we usually use in our period of throughout this project. He is indeed how an architect is pronounced. He challenges, takes risk, and very experimental. Inspire others such as me to be a more humble and a realist to a sort of design. His ability is more profound then any of us, and a very dynamic person. Swell guy.
